Aperitivo in Trani: Bar dello studente
Tomorrow is a public holiday in Italy so the kindergarten is closed, so after nap time we went to the neighboring town, Trani for aperitivo!
Dinner starts late in Puglia. Especially where there is no tourists! Some opens at 9pm..
We see Italian families with small children even at 11pm, but I can't do that.
I put my son to bed at 8pm, so we usually go out for dinner without him.
That's a shame..but thankfully there is aperitivo option in Italy!
Unlike Milan or northern Italy where the bar/cafe offers meals during aperitivo/happy hour time, bars in Puglia usually offer only light stack before dinner time. But for kids, it's more than enough.
The other day me and my husband had an aperitivo outdoors with some friends.
This time, it was an aperitivo before lunch time (which is basically lunch time in the rest of the world..in Puglia, lunch starts after 1:30pm!).
This is one of my favorite places because it's close to the beach in Trani, but the streets are quiet and deserted. No tourists at all.
If you have the opportunity to go to Trani, I highly recommend this place!
The tables and chairs outside were so cute that we ended up searching them and buying one for our outdoor table seatings!
